Program Manager for Establishing a New Software Development Center in Vietnam.We are seeking a highly experienced Software Head to lead our Vietnam division in the embedded systems domain for semiconductor applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the technical strategy, delivery excellence, and team leadership, ensuring high-quality software solutions aligned with global standards.
Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy:
- Define and execute the software development strategy for embedded systems in alignment with business goals. Lead the establishment of a new software development center in Vietnam.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define the center's goals and processes.
- Oversee the design, development, validation, and deployment of embedded software solutions for semiconductor applications.
- Design and implement a recruitment strategy to hire skilled software developers, testers, and other necessary staff.
- Conduct interviews, assess candidates, and finalize hires to build a competent and cohesive team.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture aligned with company values.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing software engineering team, ensuring skill
- development and efficiency.
- Act as the primary technical interface for key customers, ensuring alignment with their requirements.
- Implement the best practices in software development, validation, and compliance with company standards.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in India, Vietnam, and global locations to drive seamless project execution.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the Vietnam center and the Virtual Business Unit leadership.
- Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
Must Have:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- 12+ years in embedded software development, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to lead teams, engage with global stakeholders, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in managing Embedded software projects.
- Good interpersonal communication skills and experience in collaborating with the team.
- Strong knowledge of embedded C/C++, Linux, RTOS, and firmware development.
- Strong understanding of Software Project management methodologies, CMMI, ISO standards.
- Vietnamese – Native Level
- English – Business level (Good communication and presentation skills required)

- May need business trips as and when required
Preferred Requirement
- Familiarity with semiconductor validation, testing, and debugging tools.
